If you have any preferences for length where the jewellery is concerned or height and width of the tiaras just let me know. All jewellery and tiaras can be scaled down for young bridesmaids. I also offer a semi bespoke service, if you like several aspects of different pieces in my collection and would like them incorporated into one I will see whether I can make this for you. What is your silver jewellery made of? My 'silver' jewellery is made mostly of sterling silver components and all earrings are made with sterling silver ear hooks or studs. The tiaras are made with silver plated bands and wire. What is your gold jewellery made of? My 'gold' jewellery is made of 14K gold filled components. 14K gold filled means that a layer of gold is mechanically bonded to a supporting base metal. The finished item has a surface layer of gold of the appropriate carat and is much thicker and heavier than gold plated. Gold filled items are considered life- time products, and the gold layer will not quickly wear off. Most people find that they can wear 14k gold filled. What about swarovski crystals/pearls? I use a lot of swarovski crystals as well as swarovski pearls in my pieces. Swarovski pearls are not technically pearls as they have a crystal core which is covered in a pearl coating. They adapt to the temperature of the skin like pearls and have a similar weight. They are also resistant to rubbing, scratching, perfume and UV light. What about the pictures of the jewellery? The photographs shown on this website depict a representation of the completed item.
